How do I hand over personal claim to someone else?

Postby donatas081294 » Sat Mar 28, 2020 8:32 pm

Turn out that living near salt water is pretty shit, so I am wondering how could I hand over my claim to anyone else? I've already built a timber house, so it would be a waste. Do I have to give someone a bond of blood and soil and they could gain ownership of my claim?

yes, takes a bit of time for the bond to switch but yes that is how you transfer ownership

This is a good spot to remind people that if you get ganked, the ganker may steal the bond. Unless you renew the bond, the ganker will gain ownership of the claim. IIRC early in previous world an entire group of players got screwed this way when everything they owned suddenly became property of some guy who ganked the claim-owning character couple of days prior.

96 real hours to be precise.

Wasn't the only thread on this in the past. Most people have came to the forums to ask about it and resolved their issues, but a few lost claims because they didn't know.
