What’s the best fortification design?

Well lads, I looked around but couldn’t find anything solid for w12. What’s the best layout for a palisade to defend your land? What funky/effective designs do we have. Also what’s up with these visitor gates?

level 10 mine village claim surrounded by multiple other villages with brick walls on all claims. Make sure you build structures so no mine holes can be build in the layers. Also have a lot of alts with large inventories to log out with all the good items if someone is about to break in.
