Poppy Pods strategy

Postby ncksol » Thu Apr 02, 2020 1:39 pm

Is there any optimal strategy on getting poppy pods? I know the chance is random after 24 hours of reaching Stage 5, but is there any use for waiting more than 24 hours? I've had about 4-5 harvests so far of poppies and not a single pod, quite frustrating =(

You can wait more than 24 hours, have a separate field of poppies and leave it in the final stage for a longer time. Try 48 hours or more, they will eventually all have pods.

I left poppies for maybe a week, and got ~half the poppies as opium.

What I do is grow two fields, and harvest the secondary one every alternate harvest of the primary field. Has worked fairly well since opium was introduced.

Cheers. I'll try with a separate field for alternation.
