Garden pots in Winter.

I've been trawling through the posts on the topic of seasons but i have been unable to find anything relating to garden pots. Will the items in them still grow in winter?

I don't know but I think that it is unlikely. Because normal crops do not grow, why would the garden pots grow?

Well they didnt specifically mention them. i was just hoping for a clarification really.

They do not go fallow like crops at the very least. I don't know if they actively grow.
