rebuilding of metal chain production, preparation in other seasons for things to do in winter (like milling flour, preparing more food and so on). I love to have to plan things to do in winter, what i start to think about winter beign a problem, is that we don't have near the storage capacity for such planning, often, especially for some small stuff we may need to stock up in large quantities (fruits and foodstuff in general).
I believe that containers into containers, like sacks working effectively like wicker baskets, starts to be a necessity.

Winter is not just boring, it pushes me to not play H&H. Questing quickly becomes impossible after you get all your nearby NPCs stuck at "catch a dragonfly" or "pick a parasol mushroom". Being a farmer this world, I have neither skills required nor incentive to mine.

I thinkk it's just devs' way of subtly hinting the community that they're fucking tired of all things related to h&h and want us all to somehow go away.

Probably more like them saying that you're playing the game wrong.

So you choose to play only a small part of the game and ignore the rest, then when that small part can't be done for 10 days you complain that there's nothing to do and the devs hate you?

If you want to be fair you should also note there's no more income of decent food once winter starts. Mining is very energy draining. Most high energy/hunger are seed based too. Mining is limited during winter as well due to farms being removed from the game.

All of those can be solved by preparing properly before winter.

I play a part in my community I enjoy. If my part is impeded, I want to see all the others cut off equally.
I don't know (and don't care) whether you're a no-lifer freak playing one jack-of-all-trades monster character or if you're a despicable thousand character alt-botter, your argument is invalid in its core.
