Tamed animal eating rate

Postby Procne » Fri Apr 17, 2020 3:38 pm

I can't seem to find info on the wiki on how much fodder do tamed animals require. Specifically I remember that in the past pregnant females used to eat much more. Is there somewhere I can find this type of info?

I don't think there are any documented hard numbers. It is true that pregnant animals eat much more, but I don't know exact numbers. My advice is to observe the general trends of how much fodder you have in stock over time and expand your farm or reduce the number of animals if you are falling behind.

General livestock - 0.45 liters/day
Prego livestock - 2.25 liters/day
Babies - milk
Chickens - 0.15 liters/day
Chicks - 0.05 liters/day
Rabbits - 0.40 liters/day
Bunny - 0.20 liters/day

10 seeds is 0.20 liters. You need 12 tiles of crop per pregnant cow for example. Rabbits and chickens drink same amount of water as swill. This is all in swill by the way. All of them eat half amount during winter.
