How does horse HP work?

Postby cylenri » Tue May 05, 2020 3:57 am

After finally taming a horse and trying to use it for mounted hunting, I had a pretty nasty run-in with a lynx and my horse got reasonably dinged up after I dismounted

Is there any way to see a tamed animals HHP? Is it tied to satiation somehow? I'm a bit scared to take them back out if they're not doing great

And, on that same note, does a horse take damage as well if you use them in mounted combat against wildlife? or is all damage directed at the rider?

thank yall for the help as always bbycakes

Typically, your horse won't take damage in combat. It can happen if they get engaged, as you've seen. Mostly will happen with bears, in my experience. Don't believe there's a way to check their health, I'd never even thought about it actually.
