Run this game in Linux?

Able to execute, Java applet appears to be loading and then the screen just disappears when it should complete and open game window.

Any suggestions?

Please run the client in a terminal and see if it outputs any error messages.

Right. As far as I can tell, that's a bug in glibc that is triggered by some combination of glibc/java versions. On affected systems, I've found that using Java 9 helps.

It was a conflict with 8 and 11, I just removed 11 and it fixed it.

I am getting the same error with java 11
