Inspect crop quality

I was reading the beginner guide: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=40714
It mentions that for crop quality, you can inspect the quality if you planted them with the inspect tool. I tried to do this but it only says, power level 36%. What does that mean? How does this work?

The guide says it's outdated.

To give clear answer, it was removed because devs didn't want people to plant a single crop, see if it had the maximum quality roll, and only then replant the entire field.

Other thing you used to be inspect at one point was live animals, but it made scouting for hq animal nodes too easy.

that makes sense, and I agree it becomes quite easy then.
This means that i need to use the tactic to plant the crop in 3 times with atleast 5 hours appart.
