Can't run the game

just like many other I can't run this game, I installed every version of Java under the sun, ran it with every executable java offers, nothing.

most cases a window like cmd prompt shows up and vanishes right away, best case it says "unable to open".

edit: i tried on my laptop and it worked, after installing java it recognized autohaven. however on my desktop it still doesn't work, i tried uninstalling java, cleaned all registries etc, delete autohaven, tried again,failed.

edit2: I am back to square one, I cleaned and reinstalled everything. Java does not automatically recognize autohaven on my desktop, as opposed to my laptop. I set both exactly the same way, desktop version still doesn't work.

can anybody help?
