Stockpiles decay?

Postby _MR_FROST_ » Wed Feb 10, 2021 3:36 am

I havent found any info on RoB wiki and here about decaying stockpiles so i made a thread here.
Do stockpiles decay on unclaimed land or not? I keep frequently seeing my stone and feather stockpiles getting thrown around the place like destroyed containers and not even sure about decay.

Yes. Unclaimed stockpiles will decay.... some of the items in the stockpile get tossed on the ground. If it's a dirt stockpile, that dirt will eventually absorb into the earth, raising the level of the soil

This should be added to wiki then, i might create a new account there.

Everything on unclaimed ground decays eventually. That is on the wiki the last I looked.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Having a note on the Stockpile page would be helpful. Please do add it :)

I added it anyway, probably a good thing to note since it's not entirely obvious. (Atleast not to me when i first started out)
Total misplay.
