Splint - how to make one?

Maybe stupid question but i cant find anywhere about making splints. xD
So how to make one what i need to discover? I learned first aid i know few medicines...
On wiki there isn't any info how to make yet...

It requires the discovery of Rough Polish (http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Rough_Polish) as well as Bone Glue, board, string
