Lockpicking difficulty on own claim?

Postby Händler » Sat Mar 20, 2021 9:08 pm

Is it easier to pick locks of doors or objects that are on your own claim?

As in less stats required to pick?

To answer the specific question: no. Stats required are still the same--your stats vs the quality and type of lock.

In general, no benefit is given to difficulty when doing anything on a claim vs not on a claim, being the owner or not being the owner. The only thing a claim does is allow the owner to manage permissions over claimed land, which in turns determines if criminal acts are required to perform certain actions.

The fact that it's under your own claim does not have any impact on things like soak.

This however isn't completely made up assumption: I'm pretty sure that in Salem (very similar game initially developed by same devs as HnH) you could indeed bash things that you normally were too weak to damage, if it was under your own claim.
