Cave fauna surrounded my hermit dwelling

Could someone tell me why my house was surrounded by bats, a troll and bat stones spawned around? Is this normal or is there something wrong? I'm new, I don't know much about local mechanics, but the game wiki says that they should all spawn in caves, and there are no caves or mines around me
