actually protect a claim til its dry

literally as the topic says. without " get rage skills to push " or " cluster alts around it for 8 hours " because frankly its getting beyond a joke. i know the mechanics behind it were meant to be seige related and shit like that, but early world it just seems to be screwing over the hermits

i think it's a bit of luck, but mostly is location, 80% is choosing a boring place

If you can't be bothered to spawn 4 alts and put leantos, then why complain?

Because that's a dumb mechanic?

By now people are used to having structures or alt spawns to protect claims from bashers. Almost or already a world start tradition now.

I kind of understand why there's no 100% protection of claim until it dry. Imagine all the griefing that can happen ¦] .

I think leanto should give a small claim spot (2x2 tiles) to the side of it for that purpose of claim drying. Leanto should them need no skills but a wrecking ball to bash them with no scents.

It gives the protection needed to build a claim idol without needing alts and and a real counter play to prevent claims thats not just grief till quit.

This removes the need for dumb alt/pushing spam. A small area for protecting crates and general stuff without it being instand x large claim.

Ofc this is off the cuff thoughts.

One or four leantos, it doesn't make much difference. The "drying" mechanic could have easily been removed already, if it did not serve a purpose. But it does.

In conclusion, somebody can wall You off with leantos spending less time then You actually getting up LP and effort for claim stake without ANY means of defense.

Thus we would have first in takes all or a lot of GRIEFING stake claims that would haunt us throught entire world period.
