New metal progression requirement

Just so im understanding this 100% and for the benefit of anyone else who doesn't. It looks like you can no longer go straight to smelting iron, the ore smelter requires hard metal. To smelt iron you must first mine tin and copper ore and smelt in the new stack furnace, then make bronze with a crucible. bronze is the only way to get hard metal for the ore smelter for iron.

That correct? boy... I mean i like that theres more of a "bronze age" (week?) but boy its alot more work if you are solo to find tin, copper and iron ore. I guess I should not have mined iron at all, but shouldn't the wrought iron sword be buffed to be between bronze and steel now that bronze isn't a sidestep.

Fairly easy to bypass with trading though. Your neighbouring towns are probably going to have 3 hard metal to spare before you could feasibly get to that point solo. After your first smelter, you're free from the progression gate.

Fyrdsman's sword looks 10,000% more awesome than the bronze but there's zero reason to use it. It and bronze sword need their stats swapped badly.

Anyway, i quite like the new progression.
