Crucible with Wood Blocks

Anyone figured out what you can actually make on a crucible with Wood blocks yet?

Most everything I've tried so far has been coal.

Notably Hard metal nuggets and glass.

I'm pretty sure it works at least for soft metal nuggets.

I imagine it's soft metal nuggets, so that you can use the primitive smelter to make soft metal and load the crucible with wood to make nuggets, prior to this you would have to wait until you obtained coal from a tar kiln, which takes forever.
