Questions about world reset

So, I couldn't find any topic about this and so my questions were unanswered. Here they are:
1) Are the characters removed with the world? I mean after a new world reset will The Names be locked and unusable or will they be wiped and reset?
2) Am I right to expect world reset every half/2 years?
3) Will world resets always symbolize change (updates new features)?
4)I guess map is always rng...
5)Can I find somewhere info about when and what next reset will be?

2) Yes and no, it could take more if no big changes lead to such an event, but recent worlds lasted for about 1-2 years
3) Probably yes, for example the current realm rework. Might also happen if something got extremely broken in a world.
4) Yes and how we get spawned, the overall size, number and shapes of the continents might also change
5) Probably not, it is not like planned a year ahead and we know only a few weeks ahead usually.
