How rare are beaver teeth/tails?

How many damn beavers need to die for me to get some teeth? I think I've been through a dozen without seeing a single tail or set of teeth.

I've gotten something like 4 teeth and 3 tails from the ~12 i've killed. Those buggers are annoyingly uncommon.

Sounds like you're just getting really unlucky, but just FYI you get the tail at the end of butchering after the meat and fat, and you get the teeth along with the bones.

It can take a couple dozen. Is it frequent it goes that long between? No, but it's been known to happen.

Beaver without teeth should not stay alive for too long so they should all have teeth.
