Wandering Sage questions

Postby Zepar72 » Sun Apr 25, 2021 10:26 pm

What exactly does "Reduced stamina drain from walking" that the credo gives mean? As far as i know, walking doesn't really take stamina. Another thing, the "Chance for additional (to other rewards) increases to local qualities when completing quests." means it's just +1 to random Q, or it give more than +1?

Walking drains stamina in swamps, and you also lose stamina walking behind a wheelbarrow (not sure how that works). The extra bonuses are on top of normal quest rewards.

Beyond that I don't think a ton is known. It's not considered a super viable or useful credo from my understanding. Mystic is easily the most painful credo in the game, nomad is extremely useful but a gruelling credo that can get people killed. In my last 10 quests of mystic this world I refused to leave my base on the off chance I get killed or accidentally see things I'm trying to save for quests. Not a combo many people slot into their intended path.

Walking is 2nd speed. 3rd speed, running, is what has the forest drain.

Any credo that notably reduces stam drain of forest running becomes nearly PvP mandatory.

You do lose stamina from walking, it's just that most terrains don't lose it faster than you regen, so the credo basically just saves you energy if you walk speed. Though in swamps it's sorta noticeable.
