Ghost Apples

Does anyone have a pic of what it looks like when a tree has ghost apples on it? Also do they only spawn before tree's lose their leaves?

no. would be realisticall if they only spawned on appletrees with apples present. but they just spawn on any appletree in winter.

there quality seems nodebased instead of per tree, so i would guess treequality also has 0 effect
