Tar pit gathering

My my my last time i played this masterpiece was back in world 3-5

how it has come along is amazing, good job jorb and loftar! or should i say astounding job! this game is really a work of art!
is naowhut still about?

i digress


ive found a tar pit, ive used a bucket, a barrel and a kuska on it and i cant seem to get any tar? it wont even register than im right clicking it?

am i missing something? im aware that it has a cooldown but ive tried it a few times and no luck, am i just on a dry node?

It can take a long time (RL weeks, usually) for most localized resources to respawn. If you use the Inspect action on it, it should tell you how much time is left before it refills.

i see thank you, the wiki wasn't clear on time,i think it said ''re-spawns in ?? minutes''

Additionally to note, you can usually see something obvious (once you see it) about the node to know that it has resources to collect. Some have an extra object or more around it, others become animated--a geyser is erupting, fairy rings have a big mushroom in the ring part, lotus flowers are open, etc.
