Playing on mac

i downloaded the game but cannot open it on m mac

You need Java installed in order to run Haven & Hearth, first and foremost. Otherwise, as of now, it depends on what version of MacOS you're running. I'm not a Mac guy, so my information may be off, and I don't know which versions do and do not work. There's a thread in Bugs on it, but I don't have it bookmarked off hand, and if memory serves, information on any actual fixes is spotty. If you are getting crashes, the best I can suggest is posting a crash report. (Note: it's late for me at the time I'm posting this. I'll try to remember to find the thread and post a link. Poke me if I forget about it.)

There's been some talk from Apple, as I understand, about support of OpenGL as a graphics API. The newest versions have some issues that make some legacy versions of OpenGL non-functional in some games and other software. The only other suggestion I have at this time is looking at either using a Windows boot or Linux boot to play Haven (or any other OpenGL game if you're running the latest version). I can additionally say is that another game I play that is older also has issues, and their tech people say they cannot officially support OSX 10.15 yet.

I wouldn't perhaps bet on it, but as I recall it, that bug was fixed.

Should try playing on ender client my wife plays a mac and it works swell for her.

She said you may have to write the command in terminal chmod +x filename.
