Small heart container question

I cleared an ant dungeon, but I have no heart container. Did I leave it behind, or is it a random drop from the queen that isn't guaranteed? How does this work? Also what happens if u stay in a ant dungeon while it's collapsing? do you die?

You have to pick it up. If I remember right, it's in the same room the exit appears in. It's easy to miss while the screen is shaking.

It spawns in the middle of air, close to the gate.
And it's tiny. So you can easily miss it.

If you're still inside the dungeon when it completely collapses, you get spit out of the dungeon and nothing happens to you.

if you would happen too find yourself in an dungeon again, remember, not only do heartcontainer increase your maxhp. they also make very nice walldecorations
