Foragables Spawn/Reset Distance

People talk about settling too close to a biome like swamps or bogs. What distance is actually required?

The grid you log into will also load in the surrounding 8 grids. If the swamp is in those grids and you stay online always the forageables will never respawn, since they never unload.
