Can I Update my map for Winter Version?

Hi, can I somehow update my Map during Winter to show the current version?
My Map stayed in the usual colours only newly uncovered map tiles show the winter version. The same question goes for the reverse in spring. I have uncovered some Map Tiles which now show winter colours and don't want them to stay this way forever.
I am using the Ender Client.

Since winter only lasts 5 days, most people prefer non-winter tiles always taking priority over winter tiles.

Exploring winter tile again after snow has melted should have the non-winter version override it.

Before this was implemented, lot of people complained that Winter was ruining their maps.
