Question regarding offline wound healing.

Sorry if this has-been answered elsewhere, tried searching here and Google.

So. I got worked over by an adder while already pretty wounded, something like nine bites. When I logged out I was at five shp, and in bed while the bites were still increasing in severity. Full or nearly full energy.

How's this work? I'm assuming even offline it will see I should be dead... that said my character is still on my account view and when I popped on an alt this morning to add curios the wounded character is still in bed. Does it wait till I log in to kill me? Or is it worth not logging in for a few days and crossing my fingers?

Yeah you won't die until you log in. Best to just bite the bullet and do it, you probably died but it's not a guarantee.

Adder bites go up in damage before going down, bed healing makes the process go faster far as I remember. Theoretical edge case where sleeping in a bed can prevent you from getting enough con food to survive has been talked about, but I've never seen it actually happen.

Seems the wounds only progressed so far then stopped consuming energy and killed the character. I logged in with 9300 energy and a concussion still almost full strength. Was really hoping Loftar had gotten sloppy.
