if I abandon a quest in my credo, what exactly happens?

do i have to do 2 more

is there only a finite amount of time i can abandon?

When you abandon a QUEST, you lose 1 level (so you'd go from level 3/5 to 2/5) so you would need to do ONE more. If you just started the credo and are at level 1/N there is no penalty but you can only abandon every so often.

When you abandon the CREDO (separate button) you lose the credo, all your progress, and all the LP you spent to buy it and have to buy it again. NEVER do that unless you literally decide you don't want to do it and want to try a different credo.
