Me back in 2020: I don't need to specify that Snekkja is faster than a boat, I just tell the sprucecaps to try escaping and only drop key if they can't do it.

Basic Claim Safety (And what you’re doing wrong) (I recommend you read it in it's entirety, but TL:;DR: Build a Palisade.)
