not sure what i am missing... i know fresh, green, black, dreams... i know teapot.

taught them all to people with all the farming skills and stuff too and they dont have either... not sure what I am missing at this point.

anyone have it on their list care to share what unlocked it?

As far as the wiki says Farming has nothing to do with it. You need Hearth Magic unlocked. Do you have it?

Yes i have picked dreams. I am going to assume that even though it says old news to the 3 types of leaves that i haven't actually learned it somehow so i will wait until my tea plants are grown and do it all again.

EDIT... Whelp ignore this i guess i just redried the leaves and now i have it.

Teacher-character can only teach about input types they already know, and probably only taught about generic leaves. Which indeed were old news to you.
