Cant get wax (beewax)

Ok, so i made some tests

i made 2 field with the same kind of crops quantity and quality.
Place 2 skepts and waited for theyr first production, than i started to constantly harvest honey from one and left the other one untouched.

the result: they BOTH keep producing wax at the exact same ratio and time.

So for what im concerned the guy Azrid was just TROLLING HARD or just be missguided in the past, cause harvesting honey does NOTHING to wax production.

I also got some tips from people in game, but i cant reaslly tell how much this tips are true cause i havent tested em fully yet, but i feel like sharing it with you anyway:
According to them, some crops are better for wax, cause uses the maximun "tick" of every skept they got in range, and they are Carrots and Turnips, witch are suppose to (if you make a good field of them) make skeps produce wax approximatly every 2/3 real life days.

i had skepts and crops, but cant get wax.
I had apparently not enought crops but too many skepts. and they were also too close to each others
