Questions about moving...

If you are a leader of a village and want to move to another village, how do you give the village to someone else...BUT still be able to visit (with access) and help them when/if needed?

And what is the best boat to help move and carry everything easily (that is cost friendly)? Snekkja? Can I use a thingwall with that boat?

Any helpful moving info is appreciated!

Think snekkja is fastest on regular water and drakkar is faster on deep ocean + more cargo

You can only be in 1 Village at a time. They can Party you and toggle on party permissions. But if you want to move around, the only real way is, to pclaim the whole village and give you permissions in pclaim as it is overriding village claim rights. If they build a charter stone you can teleport there from any thing wall.

These are your only options.

Make an alt on different account in that village and grant him all rights. Then after you leave the village, you can add yourself to party and grant party permissions via that alt.

The best option for the cost would be snekkja. It can use roads, but not thingwalls or charters (that applies to all boats actually). If you have a charterstone in your village, you can move your hearthfire to a new place, then when you want to take something from the village, port to charter and port back to hearthfire.

I moved a few times last world using the following

Make 3 alts on 3 different accounts at new spot > link snek to new dock > travel with alts to old spot > load snek / load alts with carts > hearth alts / port to new dock > repeat x times. Works like a charm and very little risk at losing cargo. When you teleport your snek to the new location use an alt with a hearthfire at the old location so you can hearth your empty cart / chests back to old spot. Also remember you can leash multiple animals at the same time with several ropes. Make sure both spots have multiple snek keys just in case.
