Tile Centering

Asking here because I am unsure of where else to ask it but how do I plant trees perfectly centered on a tile? I've tried the SHIFT+Right Click method but it doesnt seem to actually do the trick and I have tried coming at a tile head on and still nothing.

If anyone has any tips / pointers they could give me on how to do it, that would be awesome!

Right-Click the tree-planters-pot and use the plant tree option to plant trees. (it will give the same placement control as with placing other stuff)
