Log in a second account

I'm trying to log in a second account using the computer I usually use to play the characters on my main account - but the game insists on autofilling my primary account info at log in and denying the second one. I have attempted to "forget me" multiple times without success.

Tried with vanilla and with Ender wiggen clients - both refuse to forget Dondy.

I'm not sure I understand what is happening to you. What happens when you just try to enter the other username that you want to log in on?

He's hit the "remember my username" and it auto fills his username. He wants another account there instead and can't figure out how to stop it from auto filling his first account.

When I delete the primary account information from the log in screen where it autofilled and then enter the second account user name and password it says they are invalid - however I am sure they are not invalid.

I think the one account is blocking the other from being valid for security reasons maybe? I've never used my primary IP for the secondary account.

Just how sure are you? Can you use them to log in on the website? I note from the logs that what I think is your second account is being logged in and played on by what seems to be someone else. Haven't you just been bamboozled out of your account?

Yep, the second account has been being played by someone on the other side of the continent. They made that account. They've given me the account name and password to use, so I can log in and look after their livestock while they are away.

Still, can you log in on the website with the password you've been given?

Also, for things like this, I'd recommend giving away a saved token with an autohaven.jar instead of sharing passwords. Password sharing is always a bad idea, even among people you trust.

On this topic, if it's still possible to share acc by sending people your autohaven it really should be some specific setting or a hidden button. I'm sure bad actors would be very quick to ask a newbie to send it over when they have some issues and the newbie would have 0 reason to think that's a bad idea.

That's been the case since day 1, though, and I haven't heard of that being an issue yet, at least.
