Prevent toolbelt fron uneuipping wanderer bindle

Is there a way to prevent the toolbelt from taking the bindle out of my hand? Constantly losing the extra inventory space is really frustrating.

you can’t unequip the bindle by any means if the spaces it creates are occupied, so putting an item in the far right column and/or bottom row of your inventory will prevent it from switching out


however the toolbelt replaces your bindle because the game wants to switch something else in due to your own actions (eg an axe when you try to chop a tree) so if you’re wearing two bindles you’ll have to temporarily remove one of them to complete that action anyways.

Also, I believe the belt tries to equip the new tool to the same one of your hands each time, though I forget which hand that is….if you’re a one-bindler who keeps losing the bindle instead of the useless tool in the other hand, try switching the bindle to the other hand?

You can also drag+drop the bindles to a hotbar to easily re-equip them.
