Tree Stunting and the Wiki

Wiki says if I use a tree planter's pot, that Trees cannot be stunted unless I take from it prematurely.
Is this true?
OR
How Do I produce trees that are not stunted?

in general. if you have the treeplanters skills up to druidic rite. your trees only ever stunt if you plant them to close to something, that blocks their hitbox when they grow.

Some old information in here.

Treeplanter pot trees do not care about proximity to other hitboxes anymore. Each of the plant related skills reduces stunt chance until druidic rite which prevents stunting completely. That's the only mechanic related to stunting right now.
