Gate design flaw

So, apparently this design doesn't work cause invader just opened the fence and walked in the village. What's wrong here? Does fence needs to be 1 tile further the gate?

Yes. Character on horse has larger hitbox, that allows to open fences right behind visitor gates. Move it one tile inside.

yep. got me raided 2 worlds back,
i assume you arent fully claimed inside?

if a character is sprinting on a horse, they can sometimes click the gate before visitor buff applies, build it 1 tile further in
