finding glimmermoss

okay, I've read the wiki so I understand the basics (look in caves, a big cavern seems better, but they're rare as it is). I'm looking for a glimmermoss for quarryman credo. Am I better off running through caves as much as possible, or just logging out in a cavern and checking every 15 minutes? any opinions on this? I've been doing plenty of both so far.

If you're on the starting continents, you don't.

There is a local pool that will be picked dry most of the time for the next few months. If you're on said starting continents, this means the majority of the population is fighting over the same areas so you're unlikely to find any unless you get lucky and find one as the tick respawns into the pool.

Better to skip, or migrate to a different continent (western most is the largest landmass one)
