So far, I've been investing my points into MC, and I currently have around 120-140 points. I'm at a point where I'm wondering if it's better to buy a better sword (currently using a bronze sword, q98) and stick with shield combat or switch to a B12 (planning to buy one from the market) and start focusing on upgrading UC instead.
I’ve noticed that the B12 has a slightly longer range compared to the sword, which makes cheesing fights from a boat easier. However, I’m aware that UC-based openings can’t be used from that range.
I don’t plan to play PvP unless it’s purely for self-defense. What would you recommend?
just use the sword for cheesing animals.
the shield also helps you a lot especially if your stats arent "imba"
hunting with b12 is generally not advised, the weapon increases all your cooldowns by alot, and that makes a huge difference, especially if your agi isnt on a high level to counteract that,
even worse, should you be attacked you have insane cooldowns , as the increase from b12 stacks with the malus you get from having low agi.
it is very much a weapon, that specializes in pvp, and only from characters with competetive stats and some decent knowledge and cooperation about combat mechanics, and multiple opponents.
also , b12 with mc, kinda sucks, your main opening generators want to be fast,
if you really want the range, i would advise you to try a boarspear, but there is no effective change from cheesing with a sword, unless you are really bad at staying out of range (some clients do that automatically)
the cutthroat blade would be the 2h option for pure MC sets, but i really dont advise you to get one just to cheese animals with, save the coins, get a bronze sword.
