Taming aurouchs

How much uc and MC to tame an aurouchs. I tried to fight one the other day and it destroyed me I couldn't break the armor . And it basically took me down health bad. I have 65uc and 30mc I thought they'd be fairly easy I heard before you only need 20uc. Is there a trick to it ? Should I just take him in my compound and cheese him or something ?

the name of the game is cheese, whenever you try something without compleatly bodying it in stats.
even if you manage to win, you take way too much damage doing it without cheese,

people build "pens" with cliffs, or palis or whatever, and abuse sword range, or throw rocks with slings,

or use multiple people to tame,

i would advise something about 80 combat stat, before just facetanking ochsen for taming, and at least wear some armour(wood armour is cheap)

Yeah I got severe mauling. And some bad wounds from it also destroyed my leather armor set lol

I believe you've probably figured this out already, but the best approach is to build a house, start taming in front of it, and once your Openings value exceeds 20, retreat inside and use Restorations.

Honestly, whether you have 65 UC or not, having a strong deck is far more important. It's even possible to defeat a bear on the first day with the right setup. The same principle applies to taming. Perform an Uppercut, follow it with a Sideswipe, or use Quick Barrage to apply Cornered, then execute a Full Circle.

If the opponent's armor is tough, make use of cards like Opportunity Knocks to deal damage.

65 uc and 30 Mc is perfect. Get as much armor on as you can, make a boar spear and spam quick barrage + full circle
Oak stance if you're afraid of openings but if your str is good it'll be over before you take any actual damage

I appreciate the tips. I thought running inside broke the taming? And also great tips with combat my only combat knowledge is spam punch that's about it. I'll work on building a deck that makes more sense . I thought usually u just went for the green opening 9/10 time
