Linseed Oil

OK, a noob question. To make linseed oil the wiki says merely to press flax seeds in the extractor. I have a barrel of seeds and right click on the extractor and nothing happens. What, probably embarrassingly simple, am I missing here?

Extractor has an inventory that you need to put the seeds in. You can't directly fill it from a barrel.

Thanks. (what a dumb system) all I've made in the past was wine and perry (we should be able to make lemonade also)
