Agility in Nioh 2

Hi everyone,

I have a few questions about Agility and its effects in Nioh 2. Does Agility affect attack speed? Is there such a thing in Nioh 2?

From my observation it seems that higher agility allows me to move, run and attack faster. However, could this also be related to the type of weapon I am using?

Can anyone help me answer this question all comments I thank you in advance.
