Find Green Kelp

Hi
I have been trying to find Green Kelp, walking beaches and Shallow Water for ages. I can find lots of other forage but Green Kelp is not happening,
Is there a trick to it or do I just need to keep looking.....?

According to the wiki, green kelp has a comparatively pretty high detection range compared to early foragables. There's a big chance you need to upgrade your perception and exploration values.

Ahh. That's what Minimum Per*Exp 3500 means.
I have a long, long way to go.

Easier than you think! I can't take two steps without seeing kelp now. Good luck mate, try finding some carrots.
