SOLVED: Can't craft a flag for my flagpole

I got the painting skill and know of linen. Wtf am I missing here?

I think you have to make an image sketch (paint sketch) first, the flag inputs are a painting and two cloth

Yeah, can't do an "empty" flag. Paint a sketch of a plain color of whatever pigment you have in abundance and receive numerous juicy unlocks as a reward, including flag.
