The first part of the sentence is an improper conparison. Those are totally unrelated things. Killing spruce hats also is exactly not beneficial. It just has no drawbacks right now.

Also fate doesn't work like that anymore.

OP asked me to close this thread. Locked. Might make a discussion thread about the problems of early game vs PvP in C&I later when I got home from work. Or someone else can.

Edit: Discussing right now what to do with the whole locked by user request thing. Might open this up again later.

Seems the mods that were around so far agree that a thread with a discussion going on should not be locked just because the original poster requests it. So I am going to leave this open for now.

Make up your mind Burgingsham
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Pls, I just locked it cause that ois what we have always done. But I agree that it is kinda weird to do so in the middle of a discussion.

We don't extend the same "KO don't kill" police to characters we find in Brodgar. Mostly because Robben seems like a real douche nozzle!

i believe the noob you killed was my friend who had just started playing the game a couple days ago and was still learning.
he wasn't even a member of brodgar, he was just passing around befriending people. poor innocent him. his name was Yakov, wasn't it?
he even purchased a subcription the same day but now is just a little too pissed to start again.
thanks, jordan coles.

The person we killed wasn't named Yakov, it was boringjorn (iirc)

Merch robe + 80 survival isn't a noob and he was the only one I asked :)
Also, you don't get to talk about class

burgingham wrote:If Ainran just wanted to teach those newbies a lesson they could KO them for example and pants them. Sound familiar Nao? :P There is not really anything they gain for actually killing a spruce hat guy or gal.

If I didn't get the crime debuff for KOing them that'd be fine, but if I'm waiting an hour anways I'm going to kill you.

banok wrote:If you read the thread ainran did exactly that on route to raiding NB. But I guess sprucecaps inside NB are not being given the same courtesy, which isn't too surprising.

We were actually avoiding 80% of the noob camps that we saw on the way to Brodgar, the killing started once we got there

I did get a Yakov skull though... The skull gave 47 lp
If he quits over that then I'm sorry but he's not right for this game

Your friend in the video thought he was actually going to come outside, so why do you believe he was telling the truth about having 80 survival?
The people you play with are not the brightest, but I believe that is why you fit in so well coles ;)
