I'm from neither side of this, but let me get this straight. Ainran has been raiding, pillaging and killing New Brodgar almost daily, as well as shit talking them on the forums, they went as far as to say they will never stop doing this and peace is not an option. So New Brodgar decides whatever, and if that's how it's going to be, they'll actively defend themselves.

This whole shit smell a lot like irl global politics where old governments are scared of a new governments starting to have some weight and decide to shut it down. There are many ways to reach the same result, direct confrontation is but one of them. They decided to challenge a faction in that faction's own terms and that's what is meant by calling it bad politics.

I think its fine for someone to declare themselves to be a competitive faction able and willing to defend themselves, but they have to be able to back it up... And by its very nature brodgar has some serious disadvantages. Soon people will be palibashing allllll your plots, guys...

Whats more interesting to me is that Ainran and R'lyeh are seemingly best of frands... this doesn't fit in that well with
