I said if mongols raided, not if mongols entered your territory, half the people they conquered surrendered willingly because they knew what mongols did to those who crossed them, it was total destruction

Mongols in wurm did the same as Ven said. No fun having no enemies left to fight.

Yeah, handbashing is still a thing, and there's some investment involved (shp, redhanded, str requirement, energy, water, scents) but there's no real cap on how much damage can be done. You can eat sausages to regain the health, and you can alternate between characters to keep bashing while others heal.

Animals, however, are in a class of their own. They leave no scents but the tresspass to get onto the claim, it gives no redhanded debuff, and it can even be abused while on visitor debuff. You lose no SHP while bashing with an animal, so there is literally nothing stopping you from bashing things solo for hours and hours.

If animals were unable to bash objects then it would be left up to the players to decide if they want to go through with the act of vandalism. The penalties can be made harsher for destroying things, sure, but only after animal bashing is removed. If animals are left in their current state, no amount of penalties for handbashing will matter because animals will always be used instead.

The horse is the problem, since they even break stuff somtimes when they could pathfind around a single object to their target. And once they start breaking stuff they ususally don't stop till the current object is gone...

False, I think they could for like 20 minutes after the initial update but not anymore

They actually don't stop at all unless you make a significant movement away from where you were standing when they started

The horse is a problem but not the only problem or a small symptom of it in my opinion.

Buildings/contructibles needs set on fire, crops can only be harvested when done and then they are not actually removed (salt system to destroy them can be washed away) same with trees, animals need to be poisoned they can be saved, some other system I haven't thought of to prevent malicious dumping from containers. Allow wall scallings for theft and revenge. Having scents will open up doors towards the target much faster. All these need in before we make breaking inside bases easier.

I more or less agree with this.
