And Robben has reasons to trust my faction. The major one: we have an actual interest in Ainran being demolished. I would personally avoid attacking anyone who is at war with them.

I understand your view and your stance. You can't say yes, due to everyone will look at you like an idiot. You can't say no, due to being allied with NB, and showing that you dont trust Robben, even though Robben trust you.

So in the end, you run around and deflect so not to answer a simple question.

The fighters that did not die, still could join Airan, or another faction, and still kill NB. The end result is the same, the village is dead, and only the peaceful people are put out.

Pretty much this, also, it is worth noting that new brodgar has just opened a pandora´s box that they can never close, and are now the strongest faction currently in the world, making them the top dog to be taken down.

I just hope for the newbs sake that NB is ready to defend itself when someone gets bored and decides to beat down the top dog.

Oh, that is great. Wait... what?

We are not allied with New Brodgar.

So in the end, you run around and deflect so not to answer a simple question.
About the deflect, you did not comment even once the argument that: peace offer from R'lyeh in the existing context (Alliance with Ainran, repeated attempt to ruin NB reputation and infiltrate). Your warriors could sit inside of Ainran and keep attacking NB, while R'lyeh would have no scents leading in it.

As a peacefull farmer crafter who just watched in silence as this whole situation happened I can assure you, the peace offer was real, no one gave a crap about this war anymore and everyone agreed that it would be best to just call it quit and make peace with NB, too bad they never really had any intention of accepting the peace offer.

thank you for your wonderful story of your side. i enjoyed it a lot.

what makes me wonder after reading is what you think you would have done if you actually had time to lead the village and if none of your villagers joined ainran raids, but kept alliance with roads and faced the same situation with new brodgar. the above line exactly reminded me of the old days pm exchanges with emerald, especially with the part how you were jokingly showing your villagers of your disapproval.
so, what do you think you would have done if that was the case?

There are no scents leading to it now, and yet that first part could happen if the fighters still want to.

There biggest chance at peace was the honest upfront offer, that was refused. Then by burning down Ry, all they did was make the worst case happen. So if they could have given peace a chance, they would not be looking over their shoulders.

Of course you are going to say this. Noone will confess that they were planning to break their word and lie in order to gain advantage. Moreover, you have already proven that your people have a high interest in destroying their reputation + pose as the victims, since they did not want to accept a dodgy offer.

So are you saying you will give up your keys to NB?

Well, what's said in theory is always different than actuality. I am a pretty indecisive person- and I always try to make sure things work out without anyone being hurt or upset, but I think more than likely I would try to move to break things up with Ainran, and maintain a neutral position in the war. I do not dislike brodgar, even if Robben's words annoy me from time to time I don't apply his image to his faction- but it is not necessarily cause for alliance either.

But again, that's all theory, who knows what really *would* have happened :P

Believe whatever you want man, you can hardly say that I was a part of this war.

Never did pvp, never killed anyone, have never been to New Brodgar, have never raided anyone, have never even toggled criminal acts.

Your people? They are all gone with the wind, overnight I lost my village and all of my friends, how am I not an innocent victim of this war?

I have never done anything against anyone from NB or anyone in their alliance, I never shitposted or tried to destroy anyone´s reputation in this forum during the whole war, the only post I ever made in a thread about this war was to ask the people of NB why they where calling ry´leh a bitch faction and declaring us as a co-beliregerent of this war.

So how have I proven that to you exactly? :?

But again, as I have said many times already in this thread, it does not matter anymore, what is done is done, best we all just move on. :|
