So in the end, you run around and deflect so not to answer a simple question. - About the deflect, you did not comment even once the argument that: peace offer from R'lyeh in the existing context (Alliance with Ainran, repeated attempt to ruin NB reputation and infiltrate). Your warriors could sit inside of Ainran and keep attacking NB, while R'lyeh would have no scents leading in it.

I told them that if they were an honorable and trustworthy group that would have been acceptable - But as they had just sock-puppeted, attempted to infilrate, and *lied* about our actions, we were not willing to accept peace without assurances.

There was no answer to the above, you were suspecting but no proof. You said you wanted peace then throw out a cost to high for anyone to pay. Not even your own people in your group or supporters are willing to give you keys to their base.

You think by crushing Ry, that the threat is over, the killers that survived will go their seperate ways, and they will keep hitting you. In stead of keeping an enemy close and knew whom and where they are you created a dozen different hermits, and feed warriors into other peoples fighting programs. That will turn their eye against you in time.

At the time of the peace treaty, I was sort of hoping I could include my own word and handle that issue, since it turned into a very bad mess where both sides got angry. I'm sure with more talking there could have been a more reasonable solution.


But, to be honest, that was also around the same time I didn't think much of the war. I thought it could be fun, wouldn't be too bad having people fight every now and then- that's what the game was about and all.

Can definitely say I was very surprised once the signposts started to get camped (Less about having fun, more about ruining the enemy) and became nervous, and when the betrayal + raid happened, well, I guess I realized a little too late that the war was less of a fun conflict and more of an effort to completely erase the opposition.

It reminds me of the conflicts in Wurm, back when the Mongols were around. They'd raid people a lot, kill plenty- but that's what the pvp server was. They made sure they'd never cripple their enemies out of existence though, because what fun is a game where you've stomped all of your enemies out of existence, and have nothing more to fight?
