quite a few female players ive met in online games play male chars, or female chars but never appeal their gender, to avoid annoyance male players often give them and to purely enjoy gaming, and only reveal their gender when they feel secure enough, or when asked and didn't feel like lying. (just like some male players always play female chars.)
